Lighting design

Designing with Light

Lighting design, a considered process.

Every project is approached individually, but typically includes;

  • Briefing Understanding the architecture, brief, users, ambitions and constraints

  • Concept Developing the lighting vision and defining the role of light within the space

  • Design Translating the concept into a detailed and technically considered lighting design

  • Mock up Testings on optics, control and color temperature on site

  • Specify Selecting the right luminaires, optics, controls and technical solutions

  • Realise Supporting the project during implementation and working with the wider project team

  • Refine Fine-tuning the lighting on site to achieve the intended result

A personal approach for every project.

I believe good lighting design begins with understanding the people, the space and

the ambitions behind a project. That's why I personally approach every assignment and take time to visit the project location before developing a lighting concept.

 No two projects are the same, that is why every ligting design starts with listening, observing and understanding.

Every project starts with a good conversation.
